Tour Details

This is a venture which offers a myriad of delightful locations that include ancient temples and shrines with wafts of burning incense sticks emitting a heady mix of fragrances as temple bells clang with a touch of the gongs to appease the gods by some passing devotee with a secret wish in the hopes of fulfillment in the three medieval kingdoms of Nepal. As we hike the cobbled stone streets of our mystical historical tour we appear to get a sense of the present struggling to forget a strong evidential past that seems to have stopped the clock for a real long time to come. Visitors who are familiar with Nepal’s feudal history will observe how tradition tirelessly repeats itself by a culture that remains imbedded in an ancient history and lifestyle created by kings of ancient generations where religious doctrines are strictly adhered to till this very day. Included in the tour is a visit to the ancient city of Patan, the very old Hindu temple and cremation ghats at Pashupatinath and the huge Buddhist stupa at Boudhnath. The tour also covers fascinating temples at Patan Durbar Square. As the momentum of your vacation kicks on you begin to see shades of a Nepal changing its colors from one environ into areas more sublime of dissimilar geographies with landscapes of exceptional natural beauty that can only be found in this part of the world.

Added to this will be a blitz into Nepal’s exotic wildlife at the Chitwan National park. You will get to see the massive one-horned rhino, light-footed deer, an elephant breeding centre and the elusive tiger napping in the shade. Crocks can also be seen on river banks basking in the sunshine. Nature abounds hereabouts. After this trip in the wild of another kind, you will drive to Pokhara through a lush, green highway where from the windows of your vehicle, your eyes will behold snowy mountain landscapes and in the course of your drive, you will pass through little hamlets and villages on the way that will give you some deep insights into Nepal’s rural lifestyles; till you finally reach Pokhara, a beautiful, scenic lake town where nature is amplified with the views of  majestic peaks almost at touching distance, clean water lakes with boating and canoeing thrills that tells you nature cares. You will also see some natural wonders of nature in waterfalls and gorges and at dusk, when the sun dips behind the mountains, glimpses of twilight lighten up the skies that herald the end of day….and as you slumber after a wonderfully tiring day; the rippling sounds of the lake near your hotel gently puts you into blissful sleep…..it’s another day that will go into your diary….a fireside story on a cold winter evening for the generations to come. This trip, perhaps, will linger in your memories for a long time to come.
