Explore the medieval cities of Patan and Bhaktapur. Visit the iconic sites of Boudhanath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal and Pashupatinath, a holy shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy a Himalayan panorama and a mesmerising sunrise from Nagarkot.

Kathmandu

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Day 2: Full day KTM sightseeing (Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan Durbar Square)- Evening at Casino
Day 3: Kathmandu – AM: Free, PM: At Casino
Day 4: Sightseeing – Bhaktapur Durbar Square & transfer to Nagarkot
Day 5: Drive to Kathmandu
Day 6: Depart Kathmandu
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Transfer from airport to hotel. A representative from our office will be there to receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. At the hotel, you will be briefed on your itinerary.
Day 2: Full day KTM sightseeing (Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath & Patan durbar square)- Evening at Casino
After an early breakfast we head to Boudhanath, a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the most important centre of Tibetan Buddhism outside Tibet. Buddhists believe that the remains of Kasyapa Buddha (Lord Buddha’s previous incarnation) were interred at the spot where the stupa is built. We also visit Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva and a protected World Heritage Site. Later we head to the medieval city of Patan and visit the old durbar square. The palace complex houses a museum, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and Kumbeshwor Mahadev Temple.
Evening, spend an exciting time at the Casino. Try your luck at the dealing tables (Poker, Baccarat, Flush, Kitty etc) or take a spin at the Roulette table. Roll the dice to see if fortune is on your side or see if there’s a win for you at the video/electronic slotting machines.
Day 3: Kathmandu – AM: Free, PM: At Casino
The day is free for you to spend it the way you like. Evening you will be escorted to the casino for a night filled with enjoyable games of chance.
Day 4: Sightseeing Bhaktapur Durbar Square & transfer to Nagarkot
Today we explore the medieval kingdom of Bhaktapur. Lying a few kilometers from Kathmandu proper, Bhaktapur is one of the valley’s medieval cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old city is divided into three squares Taumadhi Square, Dattareya Square and Durbar Square. Each square houses ancient pagoda temples and structures from the Malla era. Nyatapole Temple, Palace of 55 Windows, Dattareya Temple, Golden Gate etc. are some of the cultural gems of this old city.
After exploring Bhaktapur, we take a scenic drive to Nagarkot, a popular weekend getaway. On reaching Nagarkot we check into our hotel and call it a day.
Day 5: Drive to Kathmandu
Nagarkot offers commanding views of the Himalayan peaks. We wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Himalayan peaks. After breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu.
The rest of the day is free. You can spend it as you wish. Evening, enjoy a complimentary traditional Nepali feast and a lively Nepali cultural programme.
Day 6: Depart Kathmandu
Our representative will drop you at the airport on time to catch your return flight.
